here is the remedy, change the windows 7 registry to allow old style authentication from other device.

open Regedit, go to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE (HKLM)

in HKLM\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\Lsa, create LmCompatibilityLevel = dword "1", and change NoLmHash from "0" to "1"

in HKLM\SOFTWARE\Policies\Microsoft create key Netlogon

in HKLM\SOFTWARE\Policies\Microsoft\Netlogon create key Paramaters

in HKLM\SOFTWARE\Policies\Microsoft\Netlogon\Paramaters create AllowNT4Crypto = dword "1"

in HKLM\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\Netlogon\Paramaters create AllowNT4Crypto = dword "1"

make sure in HKLM\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\Lanmanserver\Paramaters requiresecuritysignature already set to dword "0"

restart a PC, now window share is accessible again from old media player.

my media player is PBO from patriot, and run PlayonHD firmware from AC Ryan. arpolhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/13686560794056356291noreply@blogger.com1tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4129945553404449527.post-21362501132582934222014-09-18T15:31:00.000-07:002014-09-18T15:31:31.735-07:00Driver for Tiny USB wifi dongle, RTL8188BEV or RTL8188CUSjust want to share the link, here is the driver for Linux, Windows XP up to 8 and Mac OSX, looking the right ones was pain in the butt.
Unlock Linksys Sipura SPA 2102, I am able to unlock it and use it with my own voip provider, but with slightly different step.

1. without connecting it anywhere, except a phone headset, set device to default configuration, by pressing **** and option 73738# and press 1 to confirm.

2. make dns record to have us-prov.clearwire.com pointing out to personal webserver address.

3. and copy that spaMAC.cfg which is explained in above link to webserver directory.

4. turn on SPA device, and after it get the provision file above the device will have all password cleared.

easy device to work with.

I wrote this because somehow, cisco website, intentionally trying to confuse people by saying, no default ip address, and give this clue on its ip address :

There are only two ways to determine the SPA400 IP address:

Using the SPA9000 Setup Wizard (so people will buy cisco SPA9000 ??? :-) )

By generating the DHCP client's table of the main router

that is nonsense right ?
Ever reach a strange error like this ? when tried to login to the Administration section of my Joomla(1.7) with wrong username or password ?.

"500 - An error has occurred - Return to Control Panel"

dont panic, just look into your configuration.php files, see what is under variable $log_path, and $tmp_path, and work by make sure the directory is writable by your webserver account ( ie apache user) or change it to different address that the server has with write permission.

this problem occurred when we copy joomla installation to new server or for some reason, permission change.Unknownnoreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4129945553404449527.post-22000125326075710402012-07-06T19:55:00.000-07:002012-07-18T20:05:53.194-07:00ltdl libtool-ltdl-devel missingjust to remind me, if -ltdl error is appear when trying to build something under linux, check if libtool-ltdl-devel is there,
and another reason I put this on the page seems that internet has less information regarding ltdl library, and I just want to populate internet with this information :-)Unknownnoreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4129945553404449527.post-28405599997086987402012-07-02T16:49:00.001-07:002012-07-03T00:45:14.191-07:00AMD E-350 vs AMD E2-1800 on windows experience index number
anyone want to see how this almost identical processor will look compared each other ? just for the information, the only difference for this two processor other than the production year (more than 1 year apart), is the CPU clock speed and of course, the clock speed of its GPU, pretty sad for such "good" processor only got this improvement after 1 year, AMD should name this E2-1800 with E-550 for this small improvement right ?

These windows experience index result below are coming from E350 foxconn NTA350 nettop and E2-1800 Sony Vaio SVE11113FXW netbook.

this is E-350, with processor score 3.8

and this is E2-1800, with processor score 3.9

I wish that at least AMD pump more juice on this already good processor, like more Mhz, or decreased the lithography to 32nm maybe, with only 0.1 processor score differences, well, that we got it already with E-450.Unknownnoreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4129945553404449527.post-63297962132996209382012-03-31T00:02:00.000-07:002012-05-14T00:04:05.379-07:00Ivy Bridge Quad-Core, Eight-Thread Mo bile CPUsReleased within first quarter 2012
Go to : HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE / SYSTEM / CurrentControlset / Services
3. Open msahci
4. In the right field double click on "start".
5. In the value Data field enter "0" and click "ok"
6. exit "Regedit"

restart your PC, back to BIOS again, and change the SATA mode to AHCI, your windows should start without any problem.Unknownnoreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4129945553404449527.post-43445216876338170832012-01-04T12:41:00.000-08:002012-09-30T01:49:02.954-07:00phpize error: unknown type name 'pval'
got this error ? suddenly unknown pval type ? because upgrading from php 5.3 to php 5.4 ?, sucks right ?

yeah, pval has been changed to zval, so if we find any source that use pval type, we need to find the newer source that has been updated to zval, if we unlucky to find one, edit the source by our self.

I got this problem when I tried to do 'pecl install stats' under php 5.4, the error was beginning with :

/var/tmp/stats/statistics.c:165:2: error: unknown type name 'pval'

well, then manually replace all pval with zval under statistics.c file (total 5 replacement, using %s vi command), but with one trick, since PECL will always reload from the source and delete any temporary local file, we have to make our updated file unwriteable, by issuing chattr +ui /var/tmp/stats/statistics.c., and the trick to get that statistic.c at the first time, press ctrl break on the first stage of pecl install when it decompressing the source, then update and lock the file with above trick.

although on their website, nokia support isnt mentioned anywhere, it does detect the nokia phone as 3G USB modem, here is the "officially" modem support from their website.

<img style="cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 290px; height: 320px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhjgAiYnA7k8TlOgkGsYt0TZwhrq23nGCUhMOjeh978s3h6N_yeAwi1DCxkEN8YpI35wkkPmNpGYl22l0oVAeg7Jnfg4DtB24T7tgjmWVVKmIlOurmvz-gDkOv-mT35xnphyenYLT5JQ9G-/s320/Picture+20.png" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5620289895000265714" />

and here is my TL-MR3420 configuration that shows Nokia E52-1 as 3G USB Modem.

<img style="cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 320px; height: 194px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgZfI_-hnb9xCKLIDlRqkymwY1lhSH0HYyFl0FiWYPaMFdVlFACRRazvPJd1hCYkfIq10i3gF4azJrFDp4IAVck_Qb8hoVTpHWQi28idEujHk4KG4BxOAv0hYQVjGlRJz5EX7OLiqGfbUx3/s320/Picture+18.png" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5620290381329440226" />

if somebody mind to ask, why I use my expensive phone as 3G modem on wireless router ???, why not ??, I have unlimited data plan on the phone, and the router is charging the phone too on its USB port. :-D
